A BRIEF POETRY AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Born into a family of writers, I began working with poetry and drama at an early age. Since then I have had numerous works produced for the stage including a number of musicals for which I wrote lyrics. I also write fiction, nonfiction and poetry. I have been published numerous times in The United States, Japan, Britain and Canada, including Poetpourri, Rag Mag, Chicago Plays, Suburban Wilderness/Poetry Motel, and Alpha Beat Press. I recently won Second Place at the Lucidity Poetry Awards. I wrote a theatre review column for Planet News, and I have worked as a director with The Chicago Symphony Orchestra and The Second City. I am presently writing a docu-novel about witches in Chicago.
